John Z DeLorean 1925-2005

John Z. DeLorean, the man who brought us the Pontiac GTO and the DeLorean (obviously), died late Saturday night from complications of a recent stroke. If it weren’t for this man, who knows what the time machine in Back to the Future would’ve been. I’ve always wanted a DeLorean. He even had a dealership down the street from my house. I’ve had the chance to meet him a couple of times and he was always a very nice man. I had always hoped one day there would be a new DeLorean sports car.

  1. John DeLorean.

    You know the man?

    You know all his successes?

You want a repetition without his baggage?

    E-mail me…………………..

Maybe you think that you know almost everything about cars. Or just nothing?
But the “key” is, think the way most of the people are doing. They define
just everything. It’s so easy: when you know THAT, you can “save” the
Future. I really think, because of my car-accident(ten weeks coma) and
    the rehabiltation-proces,

I know now what the REAL important things are in life. After this experience
I care more about the people who are expected to be living on this planet
after us than ever. I wonder if people nowadays know, what they are doing? I
don’t think so. They are just thinking: “this is today and not tomorrow”.

John DeLorean got it right! Just by making a beautiful car. Than it ‘almost’
doen’t matter how many horspower is “in front” or “in the back” of you. Just
look at the DeLorean. It wasn’t really a special vehicle with prommised
safety-features like airbags and so on. Only the Gull-wing doors and the
Stainless Steel body gave “him” Glory. Because of those two things the car
figured in the “Back to the Future” movies. Why did his venture collapse
than? Building a factory is one thing. The second thing is: have enough
“working capital” and so, money that “back”you up in difficult times.
Otherwise you must have all the luck in the world because you are as a
beginning car-manufacterer too much depending on just everything. That’s why
it is impossible to start a “Big”Car-company and be competetive, because
they forget the most crucial part: having enough Money for “doing” things
and so money that will help you “breath”.

On the other hand, a “Big”one can make cars with a lot of Emotion and Fuell
Economy in it(and of course Gull-Wing doors).

    And that’s the Future!!
