Netgear Wireless Router For $2.50

I picked up a Netgear WGR614 802.11g Wireless Router from Staples today. CompUSA has the same router on special for $29.99 but Staples is offering it for $54.94 with a $25 Easy Rebate. So, all you have to do is go to Staples, have them price match the router to CompUSA‘s price and submit the Easy Rebate. With Staples‘ 110% Price Match policy, the price of the router becomes $27.49 at the register and then after the $25 Easy Rebate, your final cost is $2.50. I normally prefer Linksys products but I couldn’t pass up on this deal.

  3. Bought mine today, the guy at staples tried to jerk me around by telling me that the price at CompUSA was an internet only price…

    A quick call to the local compUSA proved the staples manager quickly wrong. I think he was a little upset that I caught him in a lie, so he only gave me 100% price match, and not the 110% their store claims.

    Looks like I’ll have to make another trip out there!

  5. It worked for me. The staples guy was hesitant. Bring the CompUSA’s newspaper ad, if you can. I came in with web printout, he said the same thing, we do not match the web. I said it was in the compusa sales paper and he called them (he would have called them either way, they have to make sure it is in stock.) Only did the 100% match and tried to up sale me to a lynksys. He seemed shamed by CompUSA beating him, told him, who cares they just had a sale. I definitely made it a point not to tell him about the $25 easy rebate.

    I had to hunt around for the 614 it was away in a cardboard display.

    NETGEAR farmed their techsupport to India man. They are anti-gamer and don’t update their firmware for SHIT. Your kidding me if you think NETGEAR is better then Linksys.
