I came across this article on CNN.com about Donald Trump wanting to build taller replicas of the original Twin Towers. Given a choice between the Freedom Tower that is scheduled to be built at Ground Zero, and Trump’s bigger, better World Trade Center, I’d have to pick Trump’s towers. I like that the Freedom Tower will be 1,776 ft. tall, making it the tallest building in the world (a title the original Twin Towers held for a while), but I believe what better way to rub it in the face of the terrorists that are responsible for 9/11 than to build bigger, better versions of the originals. Trump’s version would only be 1,474 ft. tall though. Now, if they were 1,776 ft. like the Freedom Tower is supposed to be, it would be perfect.
