It looks as if the release date for Clerks 2 has finally been set. August 18, 2006. I’ve been a big fan of Kevin Smith’s films for a couple of years now so I will probably go see this movie on one of the first few days after it opens. I’m not one to go see a movie 50 times while it’s in the theaters. I would just wait till it comes out on DVD instead.

Microsoft Windows Defender is the new name for Microsoft’s anti-spyware program. Windows Defender beta 2 is a free program that protects your computer against pop-ups, slow performance and security threats caused by spyware and other potentially unwanted software. I was checking up on digg.com like I always do and came across a MacGyver Mastercard Super Bowl Ad. It starts off with Mac tied to a chair with a bomb counting down behind him. He breaks out of the rope using a pine tree air freshener which cost $1.29 on debit Mastercard. Then he slides down a rip cord using a tube sock that cost $4. And then finally hotwires a truck using a paperclip, ball point pen, rubber band, tweezers, nasal spray and a turkey baster which cost $14. The little things that get you through the day: PRICELESS. It was great seeing Richard Dean Anderson return to the character that lots of people know and love.

I’ve been watching the 40 Greatest Super Bowl Commercials and they listed the Apple 1984 ad as number 3. Personally, I think it should’ve at least been #2, which went to Reebok’s Terry Tate ad.

I was channel surfing when I came across The Movie Channel playing a commercial for The Crow (one of my all time favorite movies). Even though I’ve seen the movie a million times, I watched the commercial and at the end they said it was going to PREMIERE on Tuesday at 10. The movie has been out for 12 years (probably would’ve been 13 if Brandon Lee hadn’t died during filming) and they’re just premiering it now. Better late then never.
