I just got back from dinner at Chick-Fil-A and they were playing Christmas music. It’s not even Halloween and I’m hearing Christmas music. This is getting worse every year. I shouldn’t hear ANY Christmas music until Black Friday.

I’m down in Georgia visiting a friend of mine. While driving around for someplace to eat lunch, I didn’t want McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or anything else I can easily get back in Jersey. That’s when I saw it. Sonic Drive-In. They advertise on TV yet the closest Sonic to me in Jersey is over 100 miles away. It’s pretty nice. For anyone that has never been there, it’s laid out just like the old drive-ins from the 50’s and 60’s. Each parking spot has a menu board. You pull in, order like you would going through any other drive-thru, and then they bring you the food. The only thing I would’ve liked to have seen was a tray hanging from my window with the food on it just like the original drive-ins.

I picked up MacGyver - The Complete Final Season from Best Buy the other day. This completes my collection except for the 2 made for TV movies which I figured would’ve been included with the final season’s episodes.

I just saw a commercial for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for the Playstation Portable. I really like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the Playstation 2, mostly for the soundtrack since I like 80’s music.

I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and installed it on all my computers. The first thing I noticed was the tabs had a different look to them compared to Firefox 1.x. It has a glass like appearance very similar to how Windows Vista is going to look when it’s finally released. Another thing I noticed is that each tab has its own close button instead of one close tab button to close the currently selected tab.

While I was checking out HBO’s website to see if the commercial I had seen was for the upcoming season, I noticed an ad for a Sopranos PS2 video game. I want this game as much as I want the Godfather video game for PS2.

While I was watching Driving Force tonight and ordering the season 1 DVD, a commercial came on. I had the TV program minimized since it was at commercial but once I heard the music and heard Carmela’s voice, I switched back to the TV right away. I thought maybe it was advertising the Sopranos returning to HBO. So I went over to HBO’s website and there was nothing there. It turns out The Sopranos are coming to A&E in January of 2007. Now I don’t have to wait a year and a half to get my fix.

BOINC stands for the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. After one of the guys I work with was telling me about SETI@home which “is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI)”. It seemed like a pretty good idea so I’ve downloaded and installed the necessary software on my work PC, work laptop, home PC, home laptop, and home Mac.
