I’m down in Georgia visiting a friend of mine. While driving around for someplace to eat lunch, I didn’t want McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or anything else I can easily get back in Jersey. That’s when I saw it. Sonic Drive-In. They advertise on TV yet the closest Sonic to me in Jersey is over 100 miles away. It’s pretty nice. For anyone that has never been there, it’s laid out just like the old drive-ins from the 50′s and 60′s. Each parking spot has a menu board. You pull in, order like you would going through any other drive-thru, and then they bring you the food. The only thing I would’ve liked to have seen was a tray hanging from my window with the food on it just like the original drive-ins.
