Just for the hell of it, I decided to Google the name of a racer my father used to work for, Frank Iaconio. The first link was to a photo album containing images of cars driven by either Frank or another racer Ray Allen. Ray is the guy that used to drive the 1970 Chevelle LS6 for Briggs Chevrolet, which sold over a year ago at Barrett-Jackson for $1.15 Million.

I know a few things about this car. It was owned by Frank Sulc and Tom Callahan from north jersey when Iaconio drove it. They had moved on to a newer car (purple Challenger convertible) and Iaconio had sold his car (’57 Chevy Banana), so he drove it for about a year. I am in the process of doing a set of decals for Frank’s 57. The pics I have of this car are shakey at best. One of the sponsors on the car was Rotonda’s Speed Shop, but I can’t make out where they were from. Any idea where Rotonda’s was located?
