Grand Theft Auto: Hill Valley

I was checking out Digg.com a couple of days ago and came across a post about a mod for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I have the Playstation2 version of the game and love it. From the clips I’ve seen on YouTube, it looks like with the mod, there are 5 different DeLoreans (the original that ran on plutonium, the one with the hook, the hovering one with Mr. Fusion, the non-hovering one with the big whitewall tires, and the one with bare rims for railroad tracks) plus the hovering train (from the very end of BTTFIII). They even have the hoverboard. After seeing video clips on YouTube, I wish I had the PC version so I could install the mod.

MNF In ATL

I’m down in Georgia again, just like last year. I wound up getting a ticket to last night’s game between the Giants and the Falcons. I was surprised to see so many Giants fans in the Georgia Dome. I got there a little late and missed the first half of the first quarter. It was a great game though, with the Giants winning 31-10. The game was pretty much over after the third quarter.

As If I Didn’t Have Enough Already

With my office shutting down and everyone moving to the city, there’s a possibility they won’t need some of the computer equipment, including some of the servers. I’m thinking about grabbing one of the servers, and maybe another computer or two. My main reason for doing this is so I can setup a MythTV backend with a lot more storage than the one I just got up and running. My main concerns though, with the server, are power usage and cooling. If I get one of the servers I think I’d wind up getting, it has 3 350W power supplies in it. Which means if it used max power, it would draw 1.5kW per hour. One of the guys I work with (who’s also the guy that got me into MythTV) has the same server at home for his MythTV and has his in a separate room with a window A/C unit running 24/7/365. He told me the other day that his electric bill is $500/month!!! I don’t know if I’m ready to see that high of an electric bill.
