Netflix

I’ve finally decided to sign up for Netflix and stop going to Blockbuster. The last few times I’ve gone to Blockbuster, they never have anything good in stock and all the movies I don’t care about seeing are the ones that have the “In-Stock Guarantee”. Besides, Netflix winds up being cheaper. I’m on the cheapest plan, $5 a month for two DVDs a month with one at a time. Blockbuster now is almost $5 for one DVD. Netflix also seems to have a lot more movies in their selection instead of assuming what the public wants to see like Blockbuster does.

Star Wars Unaltered DVDs

I just got back from Best Buy where I picked up Star Wars Episodes IV-VI on DVD with the original theatrical releases of the movies. That means I don’t have to settle for a CGI Jabba or Gredo shooting first in Episode IV. It sucks that they didn’t release them this way in the first place but I’m glad I have them, even though it cost me $50 to get them.

My Name In Movie Credits – Part 2

I don’t have to worry about finding out if my name made it into the closing credits of Clerks II. Everybody that had the Clerks II MySpace account in their friend list before July 21st will have their names in the closing credits of the DVD version of the movie. I changed my MySpace account display name to include my last name in the hopes that it would show up in the DVD. Previously, I only had my first name which won’t help much when I want to brag/show off.
