The engine is finally done at Weston Machine. I called them this morning and Charlie didn’t realize they still had it. My father will be picking it up tomorrow. We may have one of the guys at Jesel do the balancing. Now all that’s left is rebuilding the trans and the rearend. The end is in sight!
I had to order a new engine block from Summit Racing Equipment because the one I had for the last 7 years is M.I.A.
The crankshaft finally came in over the weekend. Now it’s only a matter a time before the engine is complete.
We’re not getting the crank from World Products anymore since they don’t sell them individually. Now we’re getting a crank from another company and I don’t know when it’ll be in.
We just ordered the crankshaft from World Products. It should be here in about 2 weeks.
The CP Pistons I ordered over two weeks ago have finally arrived. UPS delivered them at 7 P.M. tonight. As soon as I get the crankshaft, I can send everything to Weston Machine to be balanced.
I ordered the pistons for the race engine from CP Pistons. They’re part number F14-CP. Once they come in, I’ll drop them off at Weston Machine to be pressed onto the Eagle connecting rods and have the block bored and honed to fit the pistons.
