I ordered my Proxim 8410-WD Orinoco 802.11b Classic Gold PC Card Monday night from Amazon.com. When I ordered it, I chose free shipping which was supposed to take 5-9 days, which put the arrival date on March 22. I even got an email this morning saying my order was shipped. When I walked out the door this morning to go to work, it was already sitting on my front porch. So much for waiting another week

 

I just ordered a Proxim 8410-WD Orinoco 802.11b Classic Gold PC Card. It’s considered the standard wireless card for wardriving. Now I have to decide if I want to buy an external antenna or make one out of a Pringles can.
