Giants Manning Super Bowl
The NY Giants have won the 2007 NFC Championship and will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in Phoenix, Arizona. They beat the Green Bay Packers 23-20 in overtime with a 47 yard field goal. Earlier in the game, FOX put up a stat on the bottom of the screen which mentioned that no opponent has ever made a 40+ yard field goal attempt in Lambeau Field during the playoffs. It seems to me that every time FOX puts up one of those stats in any sport, they’re almost jinxing the opposite to happen.
I’m loving the fact that the Giants are in the Super Bowl. I was hoping it would’ve been the Manning Bowl and a rematch of the September 10, 2006 game between the Giants and the Indianapolis Colts.

Giants Monday Night Football
I’m down in Georgia again, just like last year. I wound up getting a ticket to last night’s game between the Giants and the Falcons. I was surprised to see so many Giants fans in the Georgia Dome. I got there a little late and missed the first half of the first quarter. It was a great game though, with the Giants winning 31-10. The game was pretty much over after the third quarter.

Giants New York
I bought tickets off a woman I work with for the Christmas Eve game between the New York Giants and the New Orleans Saints. It’ll be the first Giants game I’ve ever been to. It’s not easy getting tickets to a Giants game since the almost all the fans that go have season tickets. I would’ve rather gone to the first Sunday night game this year. It’s brother-vs-brother. Eli versus his older brother Peyton.

Giants Jets Meadowlands
The Giants and the Jets have agreed on a new stadium in the Meadowlands. Both teams would own the stadium, which would be the first time two teams have shared ownership of a stadium. Both teams would like a retractable roof, which would almost guarantee a Super Bowl, but can’t afford it. The downside to this agreement is that the new stadium will not be called Giants Stadium.
